SPOON Exhibits & Events, headquartered in Rochester, NY, announced today that they have modified their logo for the month of October to support National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Acknowledging that breast cancer is a health condition that has touched the lives of their friends and family as well as millions around the world, they felt it was important to show their support in a big way.  Jeff Marinelli, one of SPOON’s Senior Graphic Designers who created the modified SPOON logo, explains his specific design: "The challenge was to show graphically that SPOON supports the work that's being done to keep people healthy.  The intersection of the SPOON brand with the iconic pink ribbon communicates this pretty well. We're pleased and proud to be associated with this."

The logo will be displayed on the company’s website, social media outlets (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Blog, etc.) as well as employee’s email signatures.

To further show their support, SPOON has purchased pink breast cancer awareness pins through Avon, the leading corporate supporter of breast cancer.  All proceeds go to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusades.  The pink pins will be worn by the SPOON staff that is on-site for all their tradeshows, events, and meetings throughout the month of October.  Orrie Capone, Vice President of Sales and Marketing comments “Supporting breast cancer research & awareness is another way the SPOON team lives out its generosity and support to the community. “
