SPOON Las Vegas takes the launch of its new brand to soaring heights!

When word was spread that SPOON was preparing to launch a new marketing strategy, the team in Las Vegas had a thought.  That thought turned into action and a backyard hobby of rockets quickly evolved into a literal “launch of the new logo”.  Once the directive came through to prepare a launch vehicle and mission objectives were confirmed, the rocket engineers and scientist sprang into action.

The established design quickly became reality as the construction team’s years of experience completed the reusable launch system ahead of schedule and under budget.  Mission Control gave the go ahead for today’s launch under ideal conditions, both from a weather standpoint and the ground crew’s preparedness.

Flight Dynamics Office set the flight path, the launch time and countdown.  Flawless execution allowed for a perfect launch, flight, landing and vehicle recovery.

When skilled builder Lance was asked about his rocket building experience, he replied “I can build a rocket that can go up to 10,000 feet! But that… that was a toy!”
